Finally we get to meet the other Blackhearts boss, and you’re right, Apollo is pretty cocky and arrogant. Nice to see “Venus’ back”!

Thanks, Willy! Your post also reminds me how long it’s been since we’ve seen Mysta. Hope the story gets back to her soon!

    I love these crossovers!

I’m enjoying the longer stories, including this one. It’s an improvement over the briefer affairs we had a few years ago, which were always entertaining if a bit hurried at times. I’m just pinching myself that Dick Tracy is this good after being so bad for so long! Joe and Mike were very deserving of a 2nd Harvey Award! I’m also hoping we get back to Mysta again soon.

I agree, Jonathan K. and Gweedo. Staton has turned Lizz into such a cutie!

Has it been resolved yet whether Tracy and Annie are actually in the past? I lean to saying no they aren’t, but has it been clarified?

Hoping Dick Tracy blows away the competition for another well-deserved Harvey Award!

Thank you, Neil Wick and Tarry Plaguer, for all the great information. Apart from the helpful explanations about the Butcher, the thing I most enjoyed learning is that the stocking-capped informant in today’s strip actually appeared in the last few days of the Annie strip four years ago. Mike and Joe have picked up the story right where it left off.

    Thanks, Pequod. That was great!

Question for Annie lovers. Who exactly is “The Butcher of the Balkans”?

Happy 4th to all! I’m loving this story. The art is great, and the fact that I have no clue what is going to happen tomorrow is a big reason for my enjoyment.
