I wonder if Greg is ending the strip….going to tidily dispose of each character then retire.

When we got our passports, back in 2008, we convinced our young adult son to do the same. He kept saying, “I won’t ever need a passport” but we suggested he get one anyway. Yep, he uses it ;-) I can easily see this happening with Gunther and his mom, too.

I’ve really enjoyed the last couple months, with Walt, then Skeezix…..kind of sorry to see it going back to the same ol’ same ol’. Just don’t care for the Slim and Clovia arcs nearly as much. Bummer….

Oh my Lynn’s comments bring back the memories. We had a waterbed in the mid 80’s too. Like Lynn, our heater was defective…yikes it was cold most of the time. And it was a war putting on the sheets. This is hilarious….though I’m thinking John is in big trouble. LOL

I’m enjoying this so much. First with Walt, and now this. I wonder what look back we will get next….I hope we do get more of these :-)

I’ve had the feeling for awhile that Jim is preparing us for Walt’s demise. I hope he just retires him to the Old Comics Home and the others can visit them, sometimes.

WTG Nina. LOL!! He’s been needing a dressing down for a long time. Leave it to the woman to give him what was coming to him.

We had stairsteps, 3 kids in less than three years. I was a stay at home mom and loved it, but it was hectic. I remember feeling this way when my mom came for a long weekend when they were toddlers, and we went away for three nights. I just wanted to sit there and soak up the peace and quiet, and nobody following me into the bathroom. LOL It was before cell phones, so no phone calls too (back then long distance was just that, and expensive, so mom would have only called if someone was dying). They are all grown and the grandbabies are coming now…and part of me still misses those hectic, wonderful years :-)
