I consulted Stel ol’ bel on the comic today and she vetoed it because it was gross.
so OF COURSE I re-ran it.
I DID , though, acquiesce to her request that I not post an image of phlegm along with the one of the flan.
    party pooper!

it would be funny if the ‘Jaws’ theme music would accompany those too huskies crawling down the hall

it’s my fault, guys!—-I typed that text last night and saved it with the beach scene together—-so, in essence, the text is an image also—-and that’s why , unless you type out something
-a single keystroke is all, with the image, your reply button won’t work.
it IS remarkable, is it not?
i don’t even know where this photo was taken , but I’m pretty sure it wasn’t Miami Beach!

ah, just another day at the beach:
soaking up some some sun, playing in the waves and watching
a Soviet Typhoon Class Nuclear powered submarine cruise by.
I did some checking on this. It’s the biggest sub ever built—
almost 2 football fields long and capable of launching 200 nuclear bombs. there were 8 made , starting in 1981, but today there is only one operational.

Goldfinger , like Jaws is one of those iconic movies from which whole lines of dialogue are
    immortalized forever….
or maybe it’s because I’ve seen them so many times!
NO, Mister Bond, I expect you to DIE!
    /
did you know that Gert Forbe , who played Goldfinger never knew a word of English and that all of his speech was dubbed in?
the only other movie I saw him in "The Longest Day’ where he played a German soldier who rode his mule on the Normandy coast every morning to pick up
water for his fellow German troops…..that is
until his daily task was interrupted by the Invasion on June 6th
