My thought exactly. Especially since I didn’t feel like researching international paper sizes this morning.

Being not a golf, tennis, or pro wrestling fan, I appreciate that the strip is going to roll directly from baseball to football. Wish Leisl were wearing 44.

With some of the unusual grammar in the strip, I interpreted his statement as “First I heard a shot, and (then) saw (that) it hit my hat”.

Wouldn’t the more likely suspect be a person with an art background, rather than just someone from the US? I’m 50+, have lived in the US my entire life, and to the best of my knowledge, have never purchased or even used 8×10 80lb drawing paper.

“in each case, the reader has all the suspects and clues needed to come up with the right answer” Except the clues that only the inspector can see…

I just can’t get past how one wins the argument by getting another to “Admit” that your prediction is “Right”. Damn you, and your twisting labyrinth of logic, Barry Bader!
