I like hockey far more than basketball or any other sport for that matter. Where is the Milford hockey team?

I’ll bet this is leading to either mood enhancements, steroids or just plain drug abuse. We haven’t had that in this strip yet have we?

And now Kaz is suggesting that Bobby start taking dope. That is a fine example of leadership.

This absolutely reminds me of Thanksgivings (and Christmases) past. Coming home from FLA to Michigan with “Cake Batter”. In fact there was a time I covered my mother’s beautiful porcelain cake tray with “batter” and my sisters, brother and I would take turns running to the pantry after sipping wine and opening gifts Christmas Eve 1985 or so. “Those were the days my friend, we thought they’d never end…”

Odd place and timing for the safety (or defensive back) to start doing pushups!

Today’s strip alone shows just how brilliant Watterson (and Calvin and Hobbes strip) was (is). The story, the artwork, the imagination. All brilliant. Look at Mom and Rosalyn. Perfect drawing of exactly what they both would be expressing at that moment.
