Although there is another website where you can coordinate with other voters … say you live in a swing state and want to vote for Gary Johnson, but you don’t want to give votes to the “blue” candidate. You can go to a website where someone living in a safe-red state will vote for Johnson, and you’ll vote for their candidate in your state.

Vaguely reminds me of a short story I read in Reader’s Digest many years ago, called “The Last Leaf” … about a woman who was seriously ill and was watching leaves fall from a vine outside her window. She determined that when the last leaf fell, that would be her time to go. Google it; I’m sure it’s online somewhere.

My wife works for a home-healthcare company and often takes their on-call phone to make some extra money. We refer to the phone as Chuckie … waits until you’re asleep and then springs to life.

A missionary by the name of Steve Saint … some of you may recognize the name; his father was one of five missionaries killed while trying to make contact with a remote tribe in South America in 1956 … in either event, he brought two of that tribes members to America, and during the visit, one of them was essentially turned into a human kite by two guys who tied him (wearing a parachute) to a couple of cables, then tied the other end to their pickup truck.
