Read them with interest. I guess sniping at Jef is a real pleasure to you. To each his own. Enjoy ;)

For me, it is integral to stories that the author delineate the rules of the world his characters inhabit. For the story, I will suspend my disbelief accordingly. All that matters (in this regard) is that the storyteller be consistent in the rules.
When I watch Star Trek, I assume that ships can fly faster than light (or bypass relativity, or whatever) and, for this allowance, I am entertained. I may be told morality plays or given insights into my real society, too.
Jef entertains and enlightens me. The price is to believe that his characters are not exactly the same as “real” persons. It is a small price. And, as a dividend, I get to pretend that people could be as he depicts them, that is, smarter and more humane.

Does a comic have to be perfectly congruent with persons? No, it doesn’t.
Does a comic have to entertain all people? No, it doesn’t.
Does an adult human being need to persist in behavior he neither likes nor approves of? Apparently, some ;)

It is at my house. What lawn that hasn’t been used for vegetable gardening will be killed off and replaced with native plants that take less water (and effort) to maintain.

I think so R.J., but where are we going to get all policemen in women’s clothing???

As math, 08 doesn’t seem to mean much. Obama in 08 would work, the aught being both an “O” and an aught.

@Kind&Kinder: Kind of you. Thanks :)

Ah, there is nothing like polite political discourse to help mold the progress of humanity! Or was that just more vacuous and profitless nastiness, the excrement of the human id obstructing hope for constructive dialog and an elevated future? Drat; it’s always the latter. Why help, when you can call people names, eh?
