At my son’s school, the student doesn’t get-to ‘explain’ anything. Without a parent’s note, it’s an unexcused tardy, which is exactly the same as cutting a class. Detention on the 1st occurrence.
Holly should have ready the student handbook so she’d know what the consequences were.

My theory is that the US $1 coin won’t be accepted until we also make a $2 coin. NOBODY wants to receive four $1 coins as change. A $2 coin would reduce the coins-as-change weight.

The first step in reading (or spelling) is realizing that the individual squiggly symbols work together to mean a word. When my brother was tiny, I said, “Boy, Oh, Boy!” and he exclaimed, “That spells ‘boy’!!!”

She was told that, but said on Sat that she wanted to clean out her desk. She should have stayed the 3 months (if only to keep her coworkers from taking her chair.)

It will certainly get back to Tiffany. I don’t think that Quill intended ‘more than friends’ to mean just physical intimacy. He meant he wants to ‘go steady’ - and THAT will infuriate Tiffany. tee hee.

If this were last month, I’d think that Joe would put the book into a protective sleeve/ or box and re-gift it to his dad for Fathers’ Day. But now, there’s no ‘cute’ way to give it back.
(The comic is worth more to dad than $)
