And don’t look for it on GoComics. It’s not here.

Your avatar looks like a piece of art from the webcomic Romantically Apocalyptic. Exceedingly bizarre. I gave up on it.

Anyone who thinks there have never been any fantasy elements in Dick Tracy (apart from the moon period) has never read what happened to Flattop Jr. after he committed murder. Just as wild as Punjab’s magic cape in my opinion, but not a shark jumping moment.

I’d vote against the return of Peanutbutter. He not only drove the Dick Tracy crew crazy, but this reader as well. And one recurring cartoonist is enough.

Incredible! As goony as Vera looks today (drawn by Staton and company) he looked even goonier in Gould’s originals!

I was thinking more of Flash Gordon with the wildly different warring kingdoms of Mongo. Or the post apocalyptic world of Kamandi, where anything could be just over the hill thanks to the hyperactive imagination of Jack Kirby.

I don’t read all the comments. Maybe this has already been mentioned. The New York Daily News online comics page now consists of almost the entire gocomics lineup. Including Endtown! More exposure for Mr. Neathery! Hooray!

Actually, the knit hat I wear at work is too small for my head and keeps sliding up. Hasn’t completely popped off yet, though.

Nope, not Lionel but his brother John. Watch “Twentieth Century” (1934) to see John Barrymore in all his hammy glory. And his costar Carole Lombard gives as good as she gets in the ham department.

Thank you, Jenner and M. Mitchell Marmel! At least it’s not the Pottsylvania Creeper!
