Let’s start getting our costs under control by eliminating what the Tea Party and GOP love such as forcing American taxpayers to do the following: Close down public schools in favor of vouchers to private religious schools (aka Christian indoctrination machines), subsidize arms manufacturers by starting wars with lies (Another Iraq anyone?), ignore essential maintenance costs such as America’s infrastructure (Who needs safe bridges if YOU don’t drive across them?), cut food stamps and force children to go hungry because their parents’ jobs were shipped to Chinese slave laborers, eliminate regulations on Wall Street (Wait…are there any regulations on the money men?), continue to subsidize Big Agriculture and Big Pharma, and finally eliminate ANY costs that help and/or serve Americans who are not part of the 1%.

Lovely! Very subtle. I’m not sure my understanding is the same as your intent, but that’s life, isn’t it.

No it doesn’t. Abstinence is against nature, which will always fail. There’s nothing wrong with adult consensual sex except for the power mongers like the religious institutions that want to control women through shame. Doesn’t work anymore…they have NO moral high ground anywhere AND WE ARE NOT ASHAMED OF CONTROLLING OUR OWN BODIES. So go find some terrified alter boy to bugger.
Liberals work hard and pay taxes; republicans work hard to avoid paying taxes. So the tax money we liberals are generous with is our OWN money.
Genocide happens only to people…abortion happens only to fetuses. If you think a fetus is the same as an “unborn child,” call your children born fetuses and see if they’ll object.

And to add a bit of confusion to the grammar discussion: “So obviously your sleeping around a bit…” could be the opening phrase to a grammatically correct sentence such as, " So obviously your sleeping around a bit…gives you a lot of experience in this area." Got it? In this case, the word “sleeping” is a gerund, i.e., a verb that functions as a noun. That’s why it would be wrong to say, “you sleeping around….” As a verb masquerading as a noun, “sleeping” needs the adjective “your,” not the pronoun “you.”
Time to laugh about it again: Check out YouTube for the restaurant scene from “When Harry Met Sally.” The last line always does it for me.
Whew! I thought my sight was going. Glad to know others can’t make out the script either.

Anybody know how much we taxpayers are forced to give to religious organizations to help them indoctrinate Americans with their myths? Thanks to Dimbulb W’s executive order, we get our pockets picked every year by religious (mostly Christian) organizations, AND THEY DON’T EVEN PAY ANY TAXES.
The Supreme Court approved Bush’s outrageous end run around our beloved Constitution because the First Amendment addresses only the legislative branch, not the executive. Note: Six out of nine Supreme Court justices are CATHOLIC. If Santorum because president, we will have handed 2/3 of our federal government over to the former Grand Inquisitor to Pope John Paul: Pope Benedict (the same man who protected all those altar-boy buggering priests for decades).
As a proud atheist, I blame all three of the Abrahamic religions for a large percentage of the world’s wars throughout history. Jews, Christians and Muslims have been citing their religions to justify killing each other and everybody else for thousands of years. Wish we could ghettoize the lot of them on some far-off planet.
