It isn’t a “theory” it is a hypothesis. Prove it first then it becomes a theory and not before.
I was answering tsull, who called it a theory.
Maybe I should have put it in quotes. I don’t think it’s a theory, just a load of cr – I mean, fearmongering.

Maybe you need to have a chat with Black Bolt.
Just a few words in his ear…

there is no different standard for the written language as opposed to the spoken language.
Unless you’re a writer coming up with dialogue.
    Lynn has it nailed.

if she can PROVE her theory then she has every right to express it.
    Her theory is half-baked.
As Tarry showed yesterday, you can get almost 5 million Lunarians with 14 generations.
And it sounds scary taken out of context.
But the world’s population isn’t static; it’s growing by 80 million a year.
So in 350 years (about 14 generations), the general population would increase by 28 billion(!). So those 5 million Lunarians would be pretty darn trivial, about 1.8% of the increase.
So she’s huffing and puffing about a possible 1.8% minority group appearing in 350 years.
That woman’s driven paranoia to new depths.

Booker watches way too much TV.

    I’m worried about Trump’s memory.
He keeps forgetting the things he’s said.

“Patriotism is the last refuge of a scoundrel.”
    Samuel Johnson, 1775.
That’s why I never trust anybody (especially if they’re in politics) who brags about their patriotism.

After 9/11, every store had flag pins and yellow ribbon pins. And every one I saw was made in China.

I don’t agree with her Bill, but I can’t say her statistics are totally wrong.
So in 350 years, there would be 4.8 million Lunarians. Sounds a lot, if the population were to remain static.
But – the world’s population of more than 7 billion is currently growing by about 80 million a year.
Multiply that by 350 years, and you’ll get 28 billion more people, of which fewer than 5 million would be Lunarian.
Makes that 4.8 million figure pretty trivial.
This is the problem with statistics: you can pluck the line you want to make a point and ignore it’s context, which changes everything.
Like what some ‘think tanks’ do.

…On his ONE leg alone, there were 14 generations of, on average, 8 to 12 kids. Do the math- that’s why there are over 4 million who share my last name on the Eastern Seaboard.
You do the math. Until the 20th century, most of those 8 – 12 kids would die before reaching adulthood.
And I’m sure those 4 million aren’t all your relatives.
(The name Johnson is the second most common name in the US. In England, it was given to illegitimate kids; “let’s just say he’s John’s son.”)
