When my husband was running his father’s business, in a small town, he’d sometimes go in early, to get work done in peace and quiet. He learned not to turn the lights on, because customers would come in anyway.

    Thank you.

Andrew, maybe the letters are a little more squished together, but I wouldn’t have noticed if you hadn’t said anything.

Not everyone in the U.S. says washrag. I was raised in southeastern Pennsylvania, and everyone said washcloth. It wasn’t until I moved to Idaho that I heard washrag, and also dishrag. My husband, from Colorado, and a friend from Oregon used those two words. I generally tolerate it, but since I have to be around my husband, LOL, I finally freaked at him.

And a helicopter. Possibly a boat.
