Is that a “hidden Mickey” on the moon?

There is a HUGE difference between visionary products for the future and a race of people with antennas living on the moon.

I totally agree with everything you said. Gould was extremely innovative for his wrist radios, wrist tv, etc.
My own complaints come from changing a somewhat believeable cops and robbers strip into a Flash Gordon.

I know I’ll get clobbered for this but I’ll put in my 2 cents worth anyway.

It was because of science fiction like personal trips to the moon that I and probably many other people stopped following Dick Tracy. It is sad to see this returning. My image of Dick Tracy is not someone flying on the moon.

You have to wonder if their creator is impressed with holy people who go around with 170 lb. turbans or might just think they are stupid.

C’mon. They capture Sam and don’t do anything to restrain him. Then when Tracy has a “heart attack”, it’s not the doctor but Sam who uses the paddles?

    Ishikawa,

The trick is that each instruction sends you to fewer possible places to be.

The easiest way to see this is to look at all possible results after each instruction is completed.

After picking one of the 8 green balloons, you are instructed to move left or right to the nearest red balloon. If you started with balloons 2, 3 or 4, you are forced to balloon 1. If you chose 5, you will next be at 6. If you chose 9, 11, or 12, you will be forced to 10. If you chose 13, you will be forced to 14.

So you started with 8 possible places to be , but after just the one instruction, you are now at one of only 4 possible places. (1, 6, 10, or 14).

The next instruction tells you to move up or down resulting in only balloons 2 and 5 being possibilities.

Moving diagonally from them gets you to 7 and 10 and the final instruction forces you to balloon 11.

It’s got to be a pretty lousy newspaper to just have a 1-page sports section on the last page.

I think she’s on TV and sells Progressive Insurance.
