    I remember having to take ever increasing numbers of such tests. Eventually I realized that the results didn’t affect me personally, so I started answering at random. Other students in my classes did the same. Sometime later I heard about how US students fell far behind other countries at right around that grade level.

    You’re right. Magic telekinesis normally doesn’t have a back reaction, so pushing the water back using magic won’t propel the boat forward. Of course, Marigold might just be doing that for show, while using another spell to propel the boat.

    As for dual use musical instruments, how about the percussion instrument that the 1812 overture is famous for?

    I checked and you’re right, in “Homicidal Psycho Jungle Cat” this strip said “Wunderkind”, while here it says “Wunderkid”. (Wunderkind means a child prodigy.)
