@janet: In my usual male-centric view of things, I was focused on the position of Jill’s hands.

“Romantic stance”? The two hands out…maybe?

Looks like some folks posting comments have forgotten that this is a comic strip which NO one, particularly in the government, is forcing them to read. You can always switch the channel to—heaven forbid—Mallard Fillmore.

After the Citizens United decision by the Supreme Court, it’s practically every politician.

Considering the number of guns and gun owners out there, you’d think we’d be the safest country on earth, but all that seems to be telling us that that we’re the one most controlled by irrational fear and paranoia. Right-wing pundits and NRA lobbyists have been saying for years that “Obama is going to take away your guns” yet NO substantive gun legislation has been passed since he took office. No, Obama isn’t the problem, it’s the gun lobby that loves selling more guns.

“Did you take a shower?” “Why? Is one missing?”
“Call me a taxi” “OK, you’re a taxi”
“Did you get a haircut?” “No, I got them all cut”.

As usual, those who cannot do, critique.

Gotta agree with the comments on this one—Mallard Fillmore is the comic pages equivalent of Fox News as far as accuracy and depth of thought are concerned. Once in a blue moon the guy can actually be funny, but like I said, it is all too infrequent to make it worth reading.
