Keep sidestepping it, Poncho, but you REALLY owe her one for that!

Ah… the origin of a superstition!

If only I could open fire on anyone who calls me in violation of the Do Not Call Registry. My home phone and cell phone have both been on the list for years, and yet I still get at least one call every day from someone who clearly doesn’t grasp the concept of “Do Not Call”.

I think that may be the only time I’ve ever seen Snoopy kiss Lucy and she DIDN’T go screaming for disinfectant!

I’ve watched “Let’s Make a Deal” for decades, and I still didn’t get the cow reference.

1970s through the early 1990s, actually. The artist is presumably too young to remember them. Either that, or he mistakenly assumes that his audience is all too young to remember them.

Looks like someone needs to proofread their copy before submitting their comics.

A “Tull” refers to Jethro Tull – a British rock band that has been popular since the late ’60s thru the present day.

And even in this digital age singers produce albums (although Tull hasn’t released a new one since 2003). Sure, you download the tracks on iTunes (or Amazon or wherever) instead of buying an LP vinyl record (or even a CD), but there is still cover art for the album (or for a single or EP, whatever) that is embedded as part of the digital audio file.
