Ah, there’s nothing like a little Gordon Lightfoot on November 1 to get the day going :)

LOL Good thing I don’t read comics for spelling and grammar. Jennie Breeden (Devil’s Panties) has dyslexia and misspells things all the time. I’m used to it :)

I still have a phone book as back up in case my phone dies. I just don’t trust all this new fangled teck-nol-oh-gee. :)

Regardless of the reason the cops were sent to the door (I like to think that everyone was worried sick because you’re NEVER late) at least they care enough to bother. I once encountered a police officer knocking on my door. Both my husband and son were out at the time. I very nearly fainted on the spot (never mind that I know they send a Sergeant and Chaplain to do those notifications). It was a Constable in uniform who had lived in the suite before us picking up some important mail. He was extremely sorry for upsetting me, I assured him I was okay. He wasn’t nearly as sorry as my husband was for not telling me the former tenant who would be picking up his mail was a cop.

I’m going to go out on the limb named “obvious” and assume you’ve already informed the police.

According to some old English thing I read, a moment is 1.5 seconds long.

You could lay down with bronchitis? Lucky you! Every time I’ve had it I couldn’t lay down because I’d cough – a lot. Created a hernia once. I ended up having to use an inhaler to get my lungs to calm down and heal.

I hope you are feeling better now as these comics need to be done a few weeks in advance.
