@Elderflower My dogs take care of the mice, snakes and other critters as well. I don’t need a cat for that. I personally have nothing against cats but my allergies do and you would be surprised how many dogs out there could out mouse a cat.

I got braces in 5th grade. Just depends on how many permanent teeth you have lost and how bad situation is. Mine was pretty bad. Even had a bar on the roof of my mouth to stretch the palate.

I adore Gollum. He’s one of the reasons I became a therapist.

I guess for me I didn’t see it as a farewell strip. If anything it’s an end of summer time strip and new stuff is on the horizon.

@Kydex exactly. It’s a comic strip so wondering why there isn’t another child because the characters make out and are lovey dovey all the time is just silly. And not to mention Pasquales guardian angel hallucinations. Kid would need some meds by now!
@Guy-why guys only? I’m a wife and I make out with my husband on the couch. And we even hold hands in public gasp

I’m amazed at how may people are taking a comic that seriously that they’re shocked the parents don’t have another child. But if you are going to take it that seriously, haven’t you guys heard of birth control? Plenty of people have just one kid thanks to that or maybe Rose or Jimbo got themselves fixed or can’t have any more kids.

Ages ago DirtyDragon. I lived through the transition as a student and never showed one as a teacher. It pretty much ended completely in the early 90s for most schools. Now it’s usually not even a VCR and TV, it’s generally a computer with a projector. At my school we don’t even need DVD’s, we have tons of preapproved films just on the school server.
