Maybe Tiff will actually grow up, become less selfish and self-centered. Maybe once Tiff does a little growing up, then Lu and Tiff could be true pals.
I can’t believe Lu Ann and her friends are finally graduating high school and going to college. They have been children for 25 years or so. This is major, folks. A major transition. Young adulthood, here we come.
I could see Tiffany changing her mind and joining Lu Ann at junior college. I don’t think Greg Evans will be able to pass up the opportunity for all the gags about the Tiff/Lu rivalry in college. Competing for the same roles in the drama department productions, and possibly competing for the same guys. And having Tiff & Lu continue to appear in the same classroom together.

When was the last time Toni said she wasn’t ready to discuss marriage? It’s been a while, hasn’t it? Maybe she’s ready now. Just ask her whether she’s ready to discuss it. Have a straightforward discussion, be a grown-up.
If Brad takes TJ’s stupid advice, Brad is the April fool. If someone proposed to me and then said “April Fools”, the relationship would be over. Toni doesn’t want their relationship to be treated like a joke.
That is a bizarre perverted request. I hope Greg Evans ignores your suggestion.

To those who are saying babies are not innocent. They are not spiritually innocent. But they are LEGALLY innocent; they haven’t committed any crimes.
Spaghettus1, palin drome, aircraft-engineer and surfstuff55, I left responses for you on yesterday (Saturday’s strip).
“No one is denying that the fetus will be human. "
Not WILL BE human. The fetus IS human.
“An embryo is not ALIVE, it can only survive in the womb. "
You just contradicted yourself. First you say the embryo is not alive. Then you say it say cannot survive (will die) outside the womb. If it’s not alive, then how can it die? The fact that somebody needs something to survive (food, water, air) is not a good reason to deprive him of that necessity. So you cannot justify removing a baby from the womb by saying that it needs to stay in the womb to survive.
You ask: Why should a woman endure a pregnancy instead of kill her pre-born child? That’s like asking: Why should a man endure a nasty divorce and child custody battle and pay alimony, instead of just killing his wife?
“Pro-choice” is just a euphemism for pro-abortion. You “pro-choicer” folks only care about one choice: Death for pre-born children.
Choice means a selection among (usually good options). For example: What color should I wear today? What flavor ice cream do I want to eat? When none of the choices seem good, it is a DILEMMA.
When someone is faced with an unwelcome pregnancy, she has a DILEMMA: Should I kill my baby or let her live? If I let her live, should I raise her or place her for adoption? “Dilemma” is a better word to describe the decision than “choice”.
“When my better students express impassioned bigotry like yours, I teach them that all racism is stereotyping: substituting a generic abstraction (a black, an oriental, etc.) for the actual individual.”
I am not a bigot. I support the rights of all human beings from conception until natural death. The bigots want to kill babies. I want them to live.
“You apparently cannot express your opinions without stereotyping.”
I was not stereotyping anyone. I was drawing a parallel between those who oppress pre-born children, and those who oppress other groups. Your a teacher? You have very poor reading comprehension if you cannot tell what I was doing with this. I was not advancing any stereotype but advocating against such stereotyping against anyone, including pre-born children.
By pro-aborts, I don’t mean everybody whose opinion I dislike. I mean those who advocate for the slaughter of innocent pre-born children. Really, honey, you need to take a reading comprehension course. And take a sabbatical until you complete that course, because you cannot be a competent teacher without reading comprehansion skills. And, certainly, you are in no position to recommend books to anyone, because you don’t comprehend what you read.
