In England the London Orchestra performed indoors with the type of explosions used in outdoor sessions with rock bands. Very impressive.

I had one a few years ago. I got a notice about non payment of me electricity bill. I took the carbon of the check to them and showed them I had paid it. I wrote them another check and they did not charge me a late fee. About 5 years later I received a letter from the post office telling me that they had found the envelope with the check in it where it had fallen behind a table and they just found it. The destroyed the check instead of sending it back to me.

Check the dates at the bottom of the strips. You will find that 9/25/66 is missing. I think that is the one where the Wiz finally changed the king back into the King.

Our console had the TV radio and record player all in the same cabinet our first real remote had to be plugged into the back of the TV. All it did was change channels, always in the same direction. I can imagine changing from channel 1 to 100 today by going in one direction in sequence.
