    My mother was like Opal. She spent most of her life working, only slowing down a bit after my father died. I think it was what kept her alive as long as she lived (95).
    My father could make dinner and, secretly, I always enjoyed his meals. But, he’d never cross Mom when it came to her kitchen. There she was ‘the Boss’.

    If the lady won’t pay the fines jail is where the courts usually send people who express Contempt for a court’s actions. I capitalised Contempt because it’s a legal term. Many of us express contempt for court decisions but we aren’t before a judge when we do.

    My opinion is (and we all know what that’s worth) if she cannot do the job by the statutes of her state and country, she should resign her position.

    In some cases Mosaic Law can be just as bloodthirsty as those Daesh beggars.

    A friend out in California sees this happen often.
    He admired my locale for preserving older homes but we still have many farms torn up for housing developments.
    My local township is jokingly referred to as adhering to the “No Farm left Unmolested” law.
