At least he kept his claws in…

This is the first Sorensen cartoon I’ve been seriously disappointed in as regards her political stance on an issue. It shows a serious over consumption of U.S. propaganda (as do the bigoted comments above) and an utter lack of information regarding the non-U.S./NATO view of how the U.S. promoted a fascist coup in Kiev leading to the tragic downing of a civilian airliner by a missile system which the fascists in Kiev have in large numbers and of which the anti-fascist rebels in the Donbass do not have at all.

Understand your need to move on, but my Sunday’s will be one smile shy from here on and smiles are hard to come by nowadays. Great good luck!

WHO just declared the Polio outbreaks in central Asia & Africa to be international health threats. These occurred despite Polio being nearly eradicated when religious extremists began killing the Polio vaccination teams in response to the CIA’s use of that ‘cover’ to find OBL. Now, hundreds of children are suffering paralysis as a result.

Oven? They can’t afford a microwave? Who puts a frozen dinner into an oven anymore? Sure, if you’re cooking a whole turkey, a cake, or muffins… but frozen meals? Please!

Somehow this strip ignores the ‘Honduras Redux’ aspect of the so-called “non-violent” coup in Kiev and the neo-Nazi ultra nationalist flavor of the coup gov’t. And, Arye, if the Tatars hadn’t collaborated with Hitler during his invasion of Ukraine (including all that went with the Nazi occupation) they wouldn’t have pissed ‘Uncle Joe’ off so bad that he deported them (seems everyone begins the Tatar’s story in 1946 rather than 1941…).

Well, saving grace is that new strips will still run Sundays (as per the WaPo article referenced by ‘traceling’). I’m involved with the characters & issues as they are and am sorry to lose ’em on a daily basis.
