Yes, but the political Super PACs they contribute to have converted the Republican Party into their personal puppets supporting the Koch Brothers political agenda. There ought to be a cap on just how much money a 1% can contribute to any one candidate. It should be the same amount as any middle class person could contribute. But of course that won’t happen because they OWN the House of Representatives.

The Koch Brothers own everything, including several House Republicans!

Our dogs at the animal rescue destroy squeaky toys in a matter of minutes. Jake our handsome brown pit bull holds the record. Squeaky toy totally ripped apart in 30 seconds. But he’s such a sweetheart.

I just can’t believe all the griping about television. There’s lots of good stuff, if you look for it. Everyone’s taste is different but there is good stuff. What about Austin City Limits or The Artist’s Den? Both present a wide range of musicians and genre.

For dog lovers, there’s Too Cute on animal planet. In a fun way, it presents puppy development.

For the Foodie there’s Anthony Bourdain on CNN. Globe Trekker TV on PBS is great for the back-pack adventure travel set.

Tell me that you don’t like MYTHBUSTERS! They make science and physics fun.

Fantasy shows on the networks, Grimm, Believe, (in the past X-Files and Fringe) American Horror Story: Coven aren’t just spooky and freaky. There are definite production values, character development and tight scripting.

Yes, reality programing is a blight upon the medium. But, you can always change the channel.

But that was fiction presented as comedy. Honey Boo Boo is like walking into Wal-Mart after midnight in a quasi-scripted format. (You all do know that most “reality” tv is partly scripted and contrived to make it interesting, don’t you?)

HO-HUM.How dull. Except for the Fox News stuff. I fall on the floor laughing at what they present as fair and unbiased reporting.

I’d rather watch Being Human or Lost Girl. At least those shows however wrapped in Gothic fantasy, have genuine character development. In the case of Being Human, As a series it had a scope with a definite beginning and end. Oops! I am talking about cable/satellite

They must be watching Koda and Kathy Lee on the Today Show. They’re up for anything after a couple of glasses of wine in a box.

All over the country we’ve had schizophrenic weather. No doubt Fox News will find a way to blame Obama for it.

How do you know that Miley Cyrus isn’t into drugs? Janis Joplin was a heroin addict and had everybody fooled into thinking she just liked Southern Comfort a lot. Deborah Harry was addicted to heroin too and nobody knew it until she came out and told a reporter.

Stevie Nicks was addicted to cocaine and nobody knew it until she too told the press.

Grace Slick was an alcoholic and everybody thought she did LSD.
