Though I am a Christian, I’ve had two young men approach me to discuss their faith (a different faith than mine) while I was outside working on my truck. The truck was on jack stands with one wheel off, and I was underneath trying to loosen a rusted bolt. Still, these gentlemen wanted to talk. I was already frustrated that the bolt I was working on wouldn’t loosen up, and the two guys were not helping the situation. Needless to say the conversation didn’t go as well as it could have. Probably not very Christian of me.

The comic didn’t load for me either. Odd how some people based on their comments seem to have been able to view the comic, while others can’t. I guess we’re not privileged ;)

What? It’s not vandalism? All those years scribbling questionable content on public property…

Being that he knew the other character’s first name was Tycho, it sounds like pschearer was just being sarcastic. I wonder how the guys at PvP and Penny Arcade will react. IF they react. Being that the newspaper industry as we know it seems to be hurting severely, (if they’re smart) they may decide to just leave the syndicated cartoonists alone to face the fate of their market. Otherwise, it could end up the “negative publicity is still publicity” concept, as a response from them could inadvertently attract more potential readers to this cartoon.

Looks like when it’s too early she dreams of Zacha as a more realistic looking iguana rather than the cartoon version we are used to seeing.

cfortunato, you have a “Pro” account. Correct me if I am wrong, but doesn’t that mean you paid for the account? Granted, Dave Alvarez (creator of Yenny) says the royalties he earns from GoComics is enough to buy a #1 meal at Wendy’s (per his blog), but having a “Pro” account suggests you are paying for the service. So, not everyone is viewing it online “for free”.

In the cartoon, it appears god is calling the reader of the 11th commandment stupid. It would likely have a dash instead of three dots before the word “stupid” if that was a signature. The dots merely suggest a pause for the reader. As for the content, it’s not about the “success” of a particular work, it’s about giving away something you worked so hard on that you could potentially be making an earning on. I wonder if this is in response to the growing debate on print versus web based cartoons?

I wonder if it’s the photos Zacha took while Yenny was hallucinating in the hospital back a few years ago.
