Jase99, like some many gun nuts, don’t even know there is even a provision in the bill that specifically prohibits federal gun registeration. Would that Wayne “a little collateral damage is perfectly acceptable” LaPierre would tell his minions the truth, for once.
mdavis, that is completely UNDERSTOOD, but it is a start down a long path towards preventing many deaths. NRA nuts can’t seem to understand that no one considers this a quick or a permanent fix, just as no one expects drunk driving laws to keep all drunk drivers off the streets, but they help.
mdavis: And your comment means what? I didn’t see any licensed to carry NRA members drawing, cooly dropping to one knee and taking out the bomber. Isn’t that what Wayne LaPierre keeps claiming you “good” guys do? Or is it always “acceptable collateral damage”?
onguard, you guys keep claiming that the 40% is wrong, but never offer any independent proof. You can state something, once, ten times, a thousand or a million times but, if it’s a lie, it’s still a lie. Independent proof, not NRA prattling, please.

gmgodsil, you’re comparing him to shrub, right, the man who cut taxes on the richest, saying that would improve the lot of the poor and middle class even though your hero Reagan tried it? The difference is, when Reagan saw it wouldn’t work, he, your hero, RAISED taxes three times.
Then there’s the little matter of starting two wars without any thought of paying for them. “Deficits don’t matter” – Dick Cheney
The cost of those two wars to date is $4 trillion, 25% of our national debt.
And, of course, the savings and loan crisis built and exploded during shrubs administration, not Obama’s.
I bet you didn’t even know all the bailout money has been repaid, with interest? 7% interest, on average, a nice return on investment in this day and age.
Harley, you’re apparently unaware that the President doesn’t pass budgets, Congress does. And surely you are aware that since the 2010 elections the repugnanticans, who control the House, have blocked anything, anything at all, that the President tries to get done?
You are aware of these facts, right?
You’ve got it right Bill, we want to be just as bigoted as you guys.

BECAUSE, Bruce, the law is NOT handling it. Zimmerman outweighed the kid by 100 lbs, yet was thrown to the ground, had his nose broken, yet absolutely no blood down his front (broken nose = bleed profusely), no swelling, no black eyes, no contusions on back of head even though the kid “pounded his head on a concrete sidewalk”. Zimmerman not stressed out at all on the tape, after just killing a human being.
