Is this maybe the dittos trying again to tell them something they need to know?

You’re absolutely correct, but in our day, it sure isn’t P.C. to use it. As a professional tech writer, it drives me crazy to not have a second-person gender-neutral pronoun. You end up having to go through ridiculous gyrations to avoid offending those whose very job it is to take offense at every opportunity.

From this angle, she reminds me of one of the other characters inside Endtown. I think she was one of the other waitresses in Holly’s diner. The troublemaker, maybe. Can’t remember her species, though…

“I didn’t belong anywhere.. even my body reflected that… not human.. not fully mutant.. incomplete…”

Hmm…I thought that was a reference to her having cut off her own tail.

Well, I’m pretty sure, though, that flask wasn’t a felis domesticus; she was a felis pantheris, if I’m not mistaken. Different species, different size.
