I used to think Quill was more mature than Lu but it has become quite the reverse. To be in fight-mode is one thing, but making a decision such as taking that gig when you had vacation plans with Lu – not even giving her the courtesy of discussing it with her first – entirely lame. He deserves a good dumping, do it Lu.

I notice that both parents don’t smile as much in later strips as they do in these earlier ones, gee wonder why?

How could Bernice have continued with this false assumption when just a few mins ago (2 strips back) Gunther had said Tiffany was “dumb”.

I used to be very active on BBS’s. Started with a 300 baud modem and tape cassette to store the Basic programs for my Atari 800. Had a friend who was a Sysop for an Atari-based BBS, would your initials happen to be DW? Would love to reconnect w my old friend dave. Anyhow, i too went on to be a software developer.

False equivalency. Gunther doesn’t have a girlfriend, so he’s not spending a lot of time with “another” woman while ignoring his gf as Quill has been doing. I thought Luann was being very cool and mature about the situation until the last straw caused her to finally blow up, which I can’t blame her for after the incredible lack of sensitivity on the part of Quill.
