An even more innocuous looking drink is a glass of gin with an ice cube. Looks like a glass of water.

According to Merriam-Webster, “Irregardless originated in dialectal American speech in the early 20th century. Its fairly widespread use in speech called it to the attention of usage commentators as early as 1927. The most frequently repeated remark about it is that “there is no such word.” There is such a word, however. It is still used primarily in speech, although it can be found from time to time in edited prose. Its reputation has not risen over the years, and it is still a long way from general acceptance. Use regardless instead.”

The suspense is thick! What could be about to happen in this story that is in its gazillionth rerun?

A wonderful summer treat is a very ripe banana that has been frozen, as good as ice cream on a hot day.

I am in firm agreement. Capp drew Li"l Abner for many years and it was a great cartoon but what is presented here is becoming monotonous. Wish GoComics could get the rights to another adventure or two. I cast my vote, if I have one, for Shmoos.

Right! Ninety-five percent of the world’s scientists are hoaxers and the world has only been here a few thousand years anyway. Oh, don’t forget about the 600 year old man that once built a wooden boat large enough to hold two or more of every species on the planet.

Thank you for your comment Clark Kent. It is also worth pointing out that General Butler was one of only nineteen men in American history to be awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor twice. He was a true hero.

LOL, This is 1973, why would Nixon allow someone to camp on the White House Lawn if they promised to vote Democrat?
