There is no way the Republicans can get out of this mess without being blamed for whatever ills the US and the World, so they might as well do the right thing – propose 0 new taxes and serious spending cuts, together with entitlement reform. And if 0bama doesn’t take it, much of America will discover that the heretofore ‘tax-cuts for the rich’ actually benefited every tax-payer – substantially.
    .
Of course the Democrats and its spokespeople in the media will label this as a Republican instigated middle income tax increase . . .
    .
Incidentally, if the Democrats are so in love with Clinton-era taxes, why don’t we also revert to Clinton-era spending . . .???

    To paraphrase Michele 0bama:

This is the first time that I am embarrassed to be an American.

Does anyone commenting on this subject have any knowledge of history?
    .
Gaza-strip used to belong to Egypt – why didn’t they wont it back under the peace treaty with Israel?

Gaza Strip ‘population’ has become an official nation of terrorists as they have democratically elected a universally recognized terrorist organization as their leadership.
    .
If any other country were subjected to the kind of constant terror attacks and rockets as Israel is from Gaza, Gaza would become a large parking lot, as it should be. But, unfortunately for the Israelis, they will effect a ‘surgical’ military operation that will undoubtedly cost a lot of Israeli lives. Not one Israeli soldier’s life is worth the risk of such ‘surgical’ operation, for which they will be condemned as if they carpet-bombed the place anyway.

As Swedes have found out some time ago, and the French are now finding out, the richest Swedes were actually Swis, which is exactly why Sweden has dramatically reduced its top marginal tax rates.
    .
The biggest problem with the 0bama strategy is its lack of honesty – the tax on ‘wealthy’ is actually tax on CAPITAL – you know the one that is needed to fund CAPITALISM.
    .
0bama is correct in saying that the ‘wealthy’ can afford to pay more in taxes. My lifestyle will not be affected a bit by those higher taxes, but there will be less money for investment, and considering the fact that we are witnessing the lowest level of new business formations in over 30-years, can we, as a country afford such conversion of Capital into Government poooooop?
    .
The 47% that pay no federal income tax, together with the guilt ridden elites and other parasites have decided that redistribution of Capital is a good idea . . . . is this the end of American Capitalism – it maybe the beginning of the End, as some of the heretofore most productive American Capitalists are turning to other shores to practice their dirty craft.

Can one imagine what the outcry and accusations of malfeasance would have been if an American ambassador and three members of his team were brutally assassinated . . . . . while a Republican was in the WH?
    .
Recall Valery Plame trumped up BS (http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2010/12/03/AR2010120306298.html) – and nobody dyed . . . .
    .
Unfortunately for the World, this is but a symptom of actual malfeasance on the part of the 0bama regime and outright conspiracy by the news-media, results of which we will have to endure for decades to come. Namely, ever more strident and aggressive militant Islamist regimes, i.e., Arab Spring, which has thus far converted Egypt from an American ally to an enemy, that we still treat as they were our friends . . . .
    .
The World is a lot more dangeroues today than it was 4-years ago and is getting worse by the minute, but, Bin Laden is dead . . . . .!!!

America has reached beyond the tipping point whereby victocrats are the majority – that would certainly qualify as Fundamental Transformation of the USA.

Leftist can be proud indeed. Another country / nation they’ve afflicted.

“If you had been born earlier you could have escaped the fascism of Europe. Perhaps if Mitt gets elected you’ll get a chance to run from his politics.”
    .
Fascism is ideologically aligned with Leftism and fundamentally incongruous with American Conservationism, as being in conflict with the American Trinity.
    .
Left of course believes its own propaganda, making Fascism a ‘right-wing’ political system . . . .

Can anyone imagine the love-fest that would have been unleashed by the MSM and the rest of the Democratic Party were something as this happened under GWB . . . . .?!!?
