    The fireflies at Cades Cove in the Great Smokies National Park are famous for their synchronous light show. Hundreds of them all blinking at the same time. They are so popular you have to reserve a space with the park to get in to see them.

    FYI, never give your livestock names. A friend of mine’s wife gave all of their emu’s names. When it came time to “harvest” their investment, she just couldn’t bear to send any of them off for processing.

    i live in town and still don’t have access to DSL. Of course that means my only high speed internet is through my friendly neighborhood cable company. And don’t think they don’t know it.

    LWP re: your tribute avatar to James Garner. FYI the Turner Classic Movie Channel is having an all day salute to James Garner this Monday, July 28th starting at 6:00 AM. They’ll be showing many of his best movies. They include a good mixture of his comedies. westerns and war movies.
