Well, that’s a relief. It would be cruel for Phoebe to be picked out and ostracized by the unicorn community.

I’ve been on that roller coaster! Ravine Flyer II, at Waldameer Park, in Erie, Pennsylvania. It’s one of the best. If you have reason to be near Lake Erie, visit the park.

There were Leap-the-Dips style roller coasters all over the country, although the <a href = “http://rcdb.com/qs.htm?qs=leap+the+dips”>Roller Coaster Database only lists seven with that exact name. It’s weird the strip didn’t use an example of the roller coaster that’s there in Altoona, though. After all, anyone can take a picture of it.

Can’t fault the kid for wanting to play Fun House, but … well, it wasn’t a 1988 game. And there’s no way to call it a double-level table.
It’s a bit weird to get so appealingly specific in a point of fannish devotion and then get the center of it off. Maybe it’s a tease on fannish specificity meant as an extra joke for pinball fans? Or maybe the strip got partly rewritten at the last minute?

So it turns out Comic Strip Master Command hasn’t heard about Detroit-style pizza yet.

Well, this has just been an outstanding series and I’m glad to have seen it. I’m sad that it’s done.
Wait, end of the series? But there’s so many more Sundays!
