Yes, you are actually right. We have been going through endlessly repeated cycles of apocalypses as long as I can remember.

Where I come from, out west, steers are just neutered bulls. I guess it all depends on what those gals are really looking for.

My parents were mixed. I look forward to their child’s arrival. I can certainly relate to it.

Well, yep, I remember quite well, all those warnings about hoodoos and haints hanging around certain places after dark.

My mother used to like having wolf spiders around the house. They didn’t make webs and they kept the roaches down. Any not wanted in the house would be caught in a cup and paper to cover the cup’s mouth and then released outside. My wife and children do not completely understand why I do that.

I know about “Soylent Green,” but the real reason I will be avoiding Soylent is that it is a highly processed food derivative and my experience with processed food derivatives is that the chemicals used in processing them have adverse allergic effects on me. I can eat corn on the cob and soybeans, but I do not dare to eat corn oil, corn syrup and soybean oil. Yes, I do read labels every time I go grocery shopping and avoid all canned foods.

Around 1979, my brother, who happens to be blonde and blue-eyed finally settled down and married a Phillipine woman, who was just over 30 herself. Her parents were highly concerned about it. However, after his wife gave birth to a daughter, everything suddenly became all right.
It reminded me of a saying by my grandmother on mixed marriages, that “Everything is all right once the children come.”

I know what you mean. I have sometimes remarked in conversation, that if someone convinced me that Hell was cold and wet, I would be a good boy from that time on.
