You can tell it’s David Janssen because of the ears. How come Gerard never picked-up on that?

I love Hobbes’ expression – he can’t believed he was outmaneuvered.

The pain of being well-liked — not that I would know. ;)

Plus it also leaves a sticky residue on your clothes.
Crocheted covers are better and longer lasting.

Not to mention that computers are still “imperfect machines” and can either break down, be “deprived of electricity” (in the case of power going out) or some other event, in which case, having something on paper can also save you at certain times….

A few months before 9/11, I got a chance to tour a nuclear sub [in dry dock] and even though everything is on radar and computers (all sensitive dials/info screens were covered) there were back-up charts of their current location out and visible in case of system failures. Good to know.
I wonder if such a tour would be allowed today.

Plus Ghostbusters was popular just before that time, Augggggh!!
When Ghostbusters finally passed on – here came half the merchants using in their radio commercials – Double Augh!
From Ghostbusters to Don’t Worry, Be Happy. Thankfully there were other good/enjoyable songs at the time.
Strange though – I never had a problem with the Macarena.

The same cars that do that to you are inconsiderate to cars also. Never use a turn signal; pull out in front of you – go 100 feet and turn again – without using signals of any kind; just generally act like they own the road.
    .
If you’re inconsiderate, it doesn’t matter what your mode of transportation is.

I liked them better than Walter Cronkite.
