    True. An article that I read claimed that the First Prime Minister of Scotland wanted an independent nation but still wanted to use the British currency.     It appeared to me that the dream of an independent Scotland was not the people’s but the power brokers of the established government who want to rule themselves and everyone else in Scotland. I bet it would make a good novel if there was an underground hero or group laced into the story who constantly crying foul of the heavy handed ways of the power brokers. Nah, to common.
