This also reminds me of that verse in the New Testament from the Bible, too… :)

I think Wally definitely was an accountant, so I’m sure he could give Alix some pointers on her math homework there. :)

I have a feeling that Val definitely would notice things like that…

Wow… :) I like Biscuit’s thoughts on walking, as she does have a few points there. Walking is not only healthy for people physically — it also helps stimulate the brain, puts things into perspective and brings contentment (at least from Biscuit’s point of view). :)

    Uh-oh — this can’t be good… not at all…

Wow. I like how Val apologized to her mother Evie for the things that she and Joan did as kids that drove Evie crazy, and remarked that Evie must’ve had the patience of a saint to put up with Joan and Val the way she did. Plus, Evie’s mental remark about living for “moments like this” really does ring true here, too. :)

Wow… :) As usual, Alix definitely gets it, especially when it comes to the fourth grade style of learning in school. Plus, the “multiplying by twelves” part reminds me of my days in school (although it was quite different for me, but in a good way at that). :)

Wow… that dream of Holly’s sure made her open her eyes and be thankful for her Christmas presents there… :)

Wow. Biscuit sure does draw the proverbial line when it comes to “Giddy-up”, indeed… :)

Awesome… :) Of course, Iike Alix, I too am a fan of Pokémon. It’s an awesome game (in both the handheld video games and the trading cards), and it helps me think strategically, too. :)
