It looks like Dana has switched to a new format for Sunday strips. The panels used to be arranged horizontally. Today they are arranged vertically.

I wonder if Professor Kenyon’s work is in germ warfare. It would explain why he needs so many eggs.

Aha ha is a species of Australian wasp, named by the entomologist Arnold Menke in 1977 as a joke. Menke described how, when he received a package from a colleague containing insect specimens, he exclaimed “Aha!”. The name was also used as the vehicle registration plate of Menke’s car. Sea unicorns are REAL! Actually, they are narwhals. Here are some excepts from Wikipedia.
    .
“Some medieval Europeans believed narwhal tusks to be the horns from the legendary unicorn.4041 As these horns were considered to have magic powers, such as neutralising poison and curing melancholia.”
    .
“The narwhal is largely mentioned in the book Lore of the Unicorn. In the book, the author Odell Shepard describes the earlier interpretations of the narwhal, from being a fish with a horn in its forehead, to a sea-unicorn.”

I think Influence has a cousin named Morris “Moe” Szyslak, who runs a bar in Springfield.
