Perfect. But I don’t think this move will help pile up sales.

He’s going to be back in a minute with a coat and something for her to eat. And maybe even a plan.

Remove the belt and wear elastic waist bands. It won’t solve the problem but you won’t feel the pains. That’s what I do, but I’m nearing 70 rapidly, so you may not want to listen to me…nobody else does.

Excellent idea. I think we have some left over from yesterday’s dinner he can use.

Okay, Stel, when did you sneak into my house and take a picture of my den? And you even moved the old computer out from the corner! I’m keeping my eye on you now. :>)

What, exactly, is draconian on this list?
She is teaching her kids to be responsible about themselves and their surroundings, to do chores and have a work ethic, to care about others, to accept responsibility for their own actions, and to form clean and healthy habits.
I wish someone had cared that much about me growing up. After being a “ward of the court” and living in 7 different foster homes and 2 orphanages from age 2 to17 years, I can attest to no rules equals no love or caring about a child’s future. Even the “court” freed me before the legal age of 18 to fend for myself when I graduated high school. No help to go to college because I’m female. This was late ’40’s to mid ’60’s, probably would not happen now.

That IS a couch. Futons don’t have legs; they sit on the floor.

I’ve never seen one with no legs, I googled it, because if you are right, I’ve never actually seen a futon. I could not find one with no legs. Granted, I didn’t look at all the many thousands on all the sites, so there may be some. All I saw had at least front legs and back slanted frames, most had four legs. They all sit low to the ground (floor), and some even had arms, which I’ve never seen before. One of our renters had one in her living room in place of a couch. I never sat on it. Too low, I’d have never been able to get up (without a forklift).

Yes, garlic is just as bad for dogs as are onions. If he were a 3D dog, I would get him to a vet asap.

    That’s a futon ? I thought this to be a couch…

It is a couch, sort of. Only it usually has no arms, and you can pull it out, the back lays down and you have a queen size bed. Kind of like having a modern style sofa bed.

I’m really surprised at this turn of events, but I’m liking mother’s attitude here. Not many smother mothers realize what they’re doing to their kids, and don’t want to let go. Still not sure if this is a good move for Gunther, though.
