True. The problem is it is hard to get just behind the head on a moving snake. Red Rats and Black Racers are godawful quick and if you miss by a few inches, they turn and bite you. Then you have to get those little curved teeth out of the web of your thumb (usually) without harming the snake. Been bitten more times than I can count.
I caught red and golden rat snakes for my kids to take to school (2 daughters) biology class for extra credit. I was the only 1 that would touch them. I put them in an old pillowcase for the kids to carry. One Red Rat managed to shake the pillowcase to the floor and the know came out. So, we had a 4 foot long Red Rat loose in the house for a few weeks. It finally crawled out of where it was hiding and laid down on a sunny window sill, where my wife found it. She has never let me live down that I let a snake loose in the house.
The Tarantula I caught off a banana boat is another funny story. It got loose in my biology class when I was in school and I was pulled out of math class to catch it again. Blast it with a CO2 fire extinguisher and sweep it into a paper bag while it is “frozen.”
Just think. If they dod not need us to deal with the spiders, snakes, and other creepy-crawalies, they would probably run us off as useless.
Somebody had to say it, and Meg was the only choice.
There is a long, recurring arc that Gus talks to Gene first. Much to MaryLu’s dismay. Gus told Gene first that he was selling out was the start of the arc, I think.
Well, at least, he finally talked to MaryLu first. Wonder if he was bothered by Gene not coming so he could discuss it with him first.
Sounds like Empty Nest. MaryLu is gone, Gene is gone, the restaurant is gone. Everything that has given meaning and direction to Gus’ life is gone. He does not know what to do with himself.
No. Gene is just the son Gus never had.
Photoshop? No, father ever believes that their son is not lazy (Teen years never are forgotten)
