I can’t believe no one understands what near miss means. It was a miss that was very near. You missed each other by very close proximity, so collision was narrowly averted.. As opposed to a far miss, which isn’t even worth saying, because you weren’t in any real danger of collision.

Nope. Having gotten used to HDTV, I simply can’t go back to watching standard definition. The picture is atrocious.

If Ray is a first sergeant, then he would not be addressed as “sergeant.” 1SGs are referred to as “First Sergeant”. Terrible case of “did not do the research.”

No, not very good. Cronus and Chronos are not the same being. Cronus had nothing to do with time.

That’s Chronos. Cronus is the Titan who fathered Zeus and several other Olympian gods.

The movies make pipe-weed seem like some kind of marijuana expy, but the books paint a different picture…much more like tobacco.

It could be yoga or tai chi…yoga isn’t really supposed to be done as one static pose after another, but a series of movements performed fluidly, with pauses when the pose is reached.

Oh, that’s not true at all. I’ve had dreams where I’ve read things, and in the dream, what I was reading made sense. It was only when I woke up and tried to recall what I was reading that I realized it wasn’t as coherent as it seemed at the time I was dreaming it. Not so much that it was gibberish, but that I had lost the thread of whatever it was about and couldn’t piece it back together. I’m a writer, though, and I tend to have creative dreams.

Plasma-Man is the one who donates blood to all the other superheroes that get injured during their battles against evil.
