Oh, this one would make a great Garfield Minus Garfield.

Not with Jon calling Garfield by name. GMG only works when it seems like Jon is talking to himself.

Radar is more accurate than simply looking up at the sky. My NOAA radar app tells me exactly where the rain is, down to the exact part of the map in relation to me, whereas looking up only tells me it’s cloudy.

Garfield doesn’t make me laugh much these days, especially compared to when I was a kid in the early 80s, but every so often you get a strip like this that makes me bust out a hearty, genuine laugh.

You mean 40-somethings. I was born in 1972, and I would be younger than these kids were in 1974, and I’m 42.

Nonsense. My friend in Des Plaines, born and raised, says Chicagoland all the time.

I can’t believe no one understands what near miss means. It was a miss that was very near. You missed each other by very close proximity, so collision was narrowly averted.. As opposed to a far miss, which isn’t even worth saying, because you weren’t in any real danger of collision.

Nope. Having gotten used to HDTV, I simply can’t go back to watching standard definition. The picture is atrocious.
