Dude, ya forgot THE theremin song of the ‘60s that just about everyone would recognize! The Beach Boys song Good Vibrations used a theremin to good effect.
    .
I THOUGHT the Dr.Who theme used a theremin, but no, it didn’t. And my wife was convinced that the original Star Trek theme used a theremin; sadly, also no.

    2. I once saw Neil Young finish a show by holding a chord and strumming it HARD, until he broke all his strings. It took a couple of minutes, and I think it was silly; but that’s show business, I guess.

If it helps, I spent the weekend volunteering my radio services for an MS Bike Tour. Called people by their call letters, used my own call letters for every conversation… That would be amateur radio, or ham radio to some. It was great. And when the event’s loaned cell phones went sideways, we just used the radios more and kept in touch more efficiently.
We could tell people where every sag wagon was, as well as where the majority of cyclists were, and where the bicycles mechanic was and where he was needed. Good weather, no major incidents; a perfect weekend.

I remember that punchline. This may be where I first joined this menagerie!
