Nope, it would be cats. The ancient Egyptians treated them as gods. And if they evolve with opposable thumbs this time….

    On the way to Bethlehem:

Gaspar: “Hey, Balthazar, what did you get the baby Jesus?”
Balthazar: “I got frankincense, how about you?”
G: “Myrrh. I couldn’t think of anything else. What about you Melchior/”
    Melchior: “I brought gold.”
B: “Gold? I though we agreed on a $20 limit! Now Gaspar and I are going to look like cheapskates!”
G: “I guess we’ll have to all sign the card.”
M “Not a chance; you brought the myrrh, no way you’re signing my card.”

Since when is being a Star Wars fan not manstream? That franchise has quite a fan base as well, probably even more than LOTR (the movies, anyway). And Paige really only liked it because of Orlando Bloom as Legolas.

If someone says “everything I say is a lie,” they can be lying. Not everything they say is a lie, but some things they can still be a lie, and this is one of them.

Vegans do not act like they are superior to everyone else. I know four vegans and none of them act like that. Also, do you ever see any TV ads for vegan-friendly products? No, but you see plenty of ads for meat. So who is acting superior to whom?

I think this is probably the worst solution ever. Since we’re not shown the dates on the newspapers, there was no possible way to tell which one it was. Just because the layouts are the same? The local newspaper around here always has virtually the same layout every day. If even photos or headlines were shown in this installment, that would have made more sense.

This reminds me of a real incident…my four-year-old niece fell and hit her head on a wooden coffee table hard enough to leave a huge bump and didn’t even whimper about it. The very next day, she slipped and went down on hands and knees and screamed like it was the worst pain she’d ever endured. Kids can be weird.

There were three, and even their names are known: Gaspar, Melchior, and Belthasar. They were kings of the Orient.
