    Oh yes, Lamb Chop was so sweet. You must be from the New York area. I think Shari Lewis gave inspiration to Soupy Sales, with his White Fang and Black Tooth puppets off screen. Soupy was a big change, he treated his kiddy audience to some more sophisticated humor.

    Bev, oh yes, Winky Dink! I was starting to think Howdy Doody, but nothing clicked! Children’s TV was pretty limited n those days. But we had Little Rascals, Abbot and Costello, Laurel and Hardy, and my brother and I would woop and holler at Jack Lalanne. He got the last laugh!
