ALL votes are wasted! Besides, let’s face it, if there were enough Libertarians to elect a president we wouldn’t need to hold elections. :D

Good ol’ home grown terrorists. You just can’t trust anybody now-a-days. When I was in Vietnam in the 60’s, we had a saying. “Take all the loyal Vietnamese and put them on a raft in the South China Sea then make a parking lot out of the country. After that, just to be sure you got all the enemy, sink the raft.” Of course, we were wrong then just like you are now.

You have several valid points but I think we can also both agree that a person who has murdered another is a threat do so again and therefore does not need to establish a pattern of behavior. The future threat is implicit in their past action. I suppose it’s all a matter of perception.

I’m sorry. I guess my point was a little bit arcane. What I didn’t convey very well is that the government wants organizations to stay tax exempt so they can rein them in if they choose to.
The taxes were not the church’s but the employees responsibility and “were” paid by them. Ashcroft was just being vindictive IMO.
