Ouch. You think being a cartoonist isn’t work? I presume you meant work at a traditional 9 – 5 type job where you leave the house…

Look at someone lying down from the crown of their head perspective… The chin is the top of the’ head’, two eyes are marked in the space between the chin and the mouth… if done well, it really is funny to watch. Cover the neck area and the rest of the face, so all that is seem is the upside-down face. The ‘head’ moves while the person is speaking, which is quite weird. And funny, too.

It’s a ‘silly straw’. A straight straw is boring, I guess, and watching your beverage climb the ‘silly straw’ is fun, in a child-like manner.

As Baslim stated, Hamilton is a play about Alexander Hamilton. As to Baslim’s other comment, Hamilton is also the face on the $10 bill here.

A lot of people seem to think they could do a better job of (insert any job/career here) than the people who are actually doing it. Yet, those people only want to snark, not actually do the work. Being snarky is so much easier, and there’s no real risk of retribution (unless you plan to hunt people down and insist they do the job? hmmm…). Keep doing what you are doing, and the critics be darned.

I am grateful my parents named me after the nickname of my mother’s aunt. Her real name was Hildegarde. Good name, back in the day. in the 60’s, not so much. I do still have people ask me what my real name is, though.
