No Quill and no necklace.
My senior year was not happy. I was too young to be an adult, but too old to be a kid. The boys still looked immature, and pimply. This is going to be a lonnnng senior year with Luann. I am ready to move her on in life. I suppose she could be a cheerleader, to get some zest. Oh, there’s the wedding coming up. That’ll be interesting.Sighhh, I miss Quill.
I asked an upperclassman what subjects he was taking. He said “Algebra.” I said, “What’s that?”He said, “Oh, that’s where you spend all year finding out what X is.”I wanted extra help, so I said, “Tell me, what IS X?”I can relate to those little guys.
Seismic2, what do you have against Quill? You want Luann to be lonely? It’s tough to be a teenaged girl without a guy.
sighhhh, I miss Quill

Typically, women get their men to worry, so they can sleep. Why waste worry on two, when one can do enough for both.
Awrrr, that’s sweet. Daddy loves his little Luann. And Luann is falling in love.
He believes he will return, even though he said, “I hope.” He doesn’t know if he can count on his parents, but he can count on himself, someday. So, yes, Quill will return. Luann represents most females who has had to have faith in what her man promised. It is a poignant experience for us all to revisit.
Awrrr, I am enjoying this romance so much, that I can’t go to bed before I see the next morning’s strip.
I like that Quill is resourceful, and pragmatic. He has thought it through, and knows Luann’s parents wouldn’t appreciate having him there. I like Quill more and more. I just wish he didn’t want to be an actor. That isn’t a good profession anymore.
