The star to cross represented Jesus replacing the old covenant (Jewish law) with the new covenant (salvation through Christ’s death ad resurection). The cartoon was not against Judaism, it was proclaiming the new covenant for God’s people (ans now gentiles) replacing the old.

    Matthew 5:14-16
14 “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven."

I think M & H did this well, and its an example that inspires me not to be afraid of sharing my faith. God bless, and Happy Easter!

Jesus died, and when he died he payed for the sins of humanity. Three days later he rose again, showing he is almighty and can conquer the grave.
