I had a broken arm years ago and changed shirts easily enough. To suggest that people with broken arms wear the same shirt for six weeks (and never shower, by the way) is the height of stupidity.

All of this assumes the killer was the one who drank from the mug. Could have been someone else.

The letter is postmarked, so it went through the postal system. How did it get delivered if the address didn’t show? And wouldn’t he have noticed that before mailing it? Honestly, I find more fun in finding the lunacy in these strips than looking for the actual “clues.”

Can we talk the about the position of the body a second? How does a corpse do a handstand? And if the landlady were jealous (we’re not even sure of what), why would she kill the guy. Why not kill Lola. These things get dumber by the week, but I can’t help being amused by the lunacy.

His fingerprints would be on all the keys unless he goes back and wipes the prints off after every typing session. Also, how does he get shot in the back in that chair? This was the dumbest one yet, and that is saying something!

Why not just wait for the guy to die?

I am a defense lawyer and I absolutely love the absurdity in this strip. “Ladies and gentlement of the jury, the State’s only evidence is that the Defendant chose to smoke outdoors, a behavior easily explained by the fact that it was a habit he had developed to keep his wife happy and their marriage peaceful, since he absolutely adored his wife and would have done anything to keep her happy.”

    Also, no motive was given.

Anyone with any manners would have removed his hat upon entering the building. One of the things they “drilled” into us in the Army.

Wasn’t too hard to figure out (although the reasoning is pretty stupid). There was only one other person in the strip (not counting the fictional burglar).

Who the F***ing f**k answered the phone when he called?
