    Standard comic strips don’t have a lot of text – they get to the joke, usually something short, quickly. With Pastis’ extended puns, you have to read quite a bit more, but it’s worth the wait. The man is a genius!

    I like this new direction the strip is taking. Pastis is able to take something that is not inherently funny – global warming – and make it funny. Very clever!

    I’m sure we can come up with something funnier, that doesn’t treat depression as a laughing matter. How about “I said ‘Norman, Stan’s on the edge’, not ‘Norman, stand on the ledge!’” How’s that for a start?
