    I like the mystery.

Huh? This guy can’t give a straight answer. He took the Butcher and Annie somewhere, but doesn’t know where?

I honestly don’t know what would constitute a “good” story for some of the fans here. Something that gives them tinglies running up and down their backs, and everlasting euphoria at just the thought of Dick Tracy? Me, I’m happy with intriguing stories and good art, and this one certainly has both. I guess I have a lower threshold for what pleases me in a daily comic strip. To each his own.

“Who would Diet do anything for?”

I know what you’re saying. Would Mike actually go there? What I wouldn’t give if he would, but I don’t want to get my hopes up again, not after all the emotional gyrations we went through during last year’s Mysta-ry.

Thanks to Neil Wick and Newenglandah for the background info on Mr. Am. I need to be brought up to speed on the various Annie characters. I’m sure I’m not the only one.

I should also mention my appreciation for Day-Day2001’s analysis of Joe Staton’s work. Great critique, sir! I agree with every word you wrote. Staton’s fantastic art makes everything about Mysta and this strip so much better and enjoyable.

Terrific work today by Joe Staton and Pequod77. The artwork is gorgeous, and the rhyme really enhances my enjoyment of the strip. Kudos to both of you!
