Ian this strip would have been good with last week’s arc. When I read it I thought of Doug. :)

Thank you for telling me the original lines. I think both are funny, however I love the “my head hurt line” from Nina. Something that is unusual for her to admit, at least from what I’ve read so far).

Okay now I want to see the ealier version. Yesterday when I read WildeBill’s comment about dark matter I figured I missed something. Today I realize that I did indeed. Is there any way to see the “before” strip?

I loved that George, (and then later Ringo Starr) was Mr. Conductor on Shiny Time Station. Who’d have thought “children’s show material” in context with those two!

I have to say Ian I don’t read comments that often anymore. I bookmarked some names of cartoonists that I enjoy. When I saw your post it affirmed my belief that you are a delightful person with whom to spend time.

I copied & pasted it in full, so I’m sorry if there is erroneous info.

Here is what I copied from some of the others:

Here is a longer list of the HTML coding tags which may be used when posting comments. Some I use regularly and some, like “big,” I don’t use at all, preferring another method. Copy any of the coding below into Wordpad, not Word, and it can be recopied into a comment box with your text replacing the example text. You can nest them for more than one text modification.

Renders code as code for teaching purposes. It's being used above. < /code > My preferred method for formatting my font(s) in posts is variations of this (Again copy it into WordPad, not Word.):<font size="x" color="x" face="x">Desired text</font>where the x within each =" " is replaced with the appropriate coding: size=“4” color=“purple” face=“Wingdings” for examples.Just delete the coding block(s) you don’t want. All of the above tags will work within the “Desired text” block to further modify your main commands. (Not all of the font faces will work and will be rendered as the GoComics’ default font.). There is also a limit on size but anything over will be rendered as the largest allowed. “color” coding can be the common name, “purple”, hexadecimal value “#80080” (which is also purple) and “red, green, blue” “128,0,128”, purple once more.I hope this helps.

It is a VERY odd sensation when your hair hurts. I don’t drink, but ouch! my hair can make me wish I did.

I tried to find this clip on YouTube since Alexikakos taught me how to embed from there, however there are just too many links. Not to mention that lately gocomics hasn’t been allowing playable clips. Anyway this is an episode of “The Daily Show” from back in 2011. In it Jon talked about the Koch brothers having their own scientist look over the climate data. Jon figured that the guy would just follow the conservative narrative about it being a hoax. However what in fact DID happen was the man discovered climate change to be true. He published an op-ed in The Wall Street Journal.
